 At The Children’s Loft, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which to grow, explore, and thrive. Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that early childhood is a foundational time for emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. We are committed to supporting the whole child through a balance of structured activities and free play in a home-like setting that fosters a sense of belonging, security, and joy.

We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children from infancy through school age. Our programs include infant and toddler care, preschool, before and after-school care, and summer camp.

 Developmentally Appropriate Practice Curriculum

DAP focuses on meeting children where they are developmentally and creating an environment that fosters active learning through a balance of structured and unstructured experiences. It considers children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to design a comprehensive curriculum.

Nutritional Meals

 

We proudly participate in the Mid Michigan Child Care Food Program, which ensures the children in our care receive healthy, well-balanced meals and snacks each day. This program supports our home daycare by providing nutritious food options that meet USDA guidelines, helping children grow strong and stay energized for learning and play—all at no extra cost to families!
